Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp. chopped onions
- 2 cloves of garlic, crush
- 3 tbsp. ketchup
- 1/2 tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 Art. dark brown sugar
- 1/4 Art. steak sauce
- 1/4 Art. worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp. l molasses
- 3 tbsp. l mustard
- 1/2 tsp ground celery seeds
- Coarse salt
- 1 – 2 tsp smoking liquid (flavoring liquid smoke)

Recipe preparation:
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan with a thick bottom. Add onion, garlic and fry, 6 – 7 min., until golden brown. Add ketchup, 1 tbsp. water, vinegar, brown sugar, both sauces, molasses, mustard, celery seeds and 1 tsp. salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the temperature and cook at low boil until onion will become soft, about 15 minutes Stir in smoke liquid and strain the sauce through a sieve.
