Ice cream cake “Hot dog”

Hot dog lovers will be delighted with such a cake in their celebration. It looks exactly like a popular sausage roll, and all details are thought out to the smallest detail. The basis of the cake is rectangular pound muffin cut into a roll form for hot dog. Buy it ready and it will take a minimum to make a cake time. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. softened chocolate ice cream
  • Red and yellow food colors (gel)
  • 1 frozen pound muffin weighing 450 g.
  • 1 tbsp. diced strawberries
  • 1/4 Art. viscous chocolate and milk toffee sauce
  • 3/4 Art. vanilla glaze
  • 30 gr chopped white chocolate

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix enough chocolate ice cream in a bowl red food coloring to make a sausage color. Lay out ice cream on a sheet of parchment paper; fold parchment over ice cream, then helping yourself with a ruler, give it the shape of a log 30 cm long.
  2. Wrap the log in paper and curl the ends of the parchment. Freeze the ice cream to solidify for at least 2 hours.
  3. Cut a thin slice on all 4 sides of the pound cake. Make 2 long cuts 2.5 cm deep. On top of the cupcake, 2.5 cm from the edges; scoop out the center of the biscuit to it turned out a notch for the “sausage”.
  4. Make chili: mix strawberries with chocolate in a bowl the sauce.
