In hot weather there is nothing better than refreshing yourself with cold home lemonade. Unlike purchased ones, it is rich in vitamins and does not contain artificial additives. An additional pleasant aroma will give it natural flavors in the form of honey and vanilla pod. Boil them along with sugar and sweeten the resulting syrup with lemon juice, diluted with water. Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2.5 tbsp. lemon juice (from about 24 lemons)
- 2 tbsp. Sahara
- 0.5 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp. water and some more, if necessary
- 1 vanilla pod
- Mugs or slices of lemon for serving

Recipe preparation:
- In a large saucepan, mix sugar, honey and 2 tbsp. water and put on a moderately strong fire. Cut the vanilla bean in half lengthwise and use the blunt side of the knife to scrape off the seeds and add them to pan with the pod.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until sugar will dissolve and the syrup will not thicken. Remove from the stove and cool.
- Pour lemon juice into a 4 liter jug. Strain through a sieve sugar syrup there too. Throw away the remaining vanilla. Add to the jug water and mix well.
- Serve with ice and lemon slices or mugs.
