Ginger drink based on sparkling water and ginger.
A refreshing summer ginger beer at home at a very a quick and easy recipe from Jamie Oliver.
Time: one 5 мин.Difficulty: easy. Quantity: 4 cocktails. Recipes used. volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 150 gr. fresh ginger
- 4 tbsp. l muscovado sugar
- 2 – 3 lemons
- 1 liter of sparkling water or mineral water with gas
- Sprigs of fresh mint

Recipe preparation:
- Rub the ginger on a coarse grater; you can leave the peel if you want to. Put ginger with the juice that stood out in a bowl and add the muscovado sugar. Using a peeler, peel the zest from 2 lemons, add to a bowl and pestle for 10 seconds, so that the essential oil stands out and the aromas mix.
- Squeeze the juice of 3 lemons and add to the bowl. Pour in sparkling water. Let it infuse for 10 minutes and then taste it. Adjust acid by adding more sugar or lemons. Filter ginger beer through a sieve into a large jug and add a lot of ice and a few sprigs of mint.
