Recipe preparation:
- Cook ginger syrup: mix in a small saucepan sliced ginger, sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring on simmer until boiling and simmer, stirring until sugar dissolve, reduce heat to medium and cook until thick, 15-20 minutes. Strain and cool.
