Fried shrimp on skewers with soy sauce, fresh ginger and toasted sesame seeds

Make an excellent shrimp appetizer for your home party in asian style. Large shrimp are used in the preparation, which are placed one by one on short wooden skewers and look very aesthetically pleasing. Do not forget to pre-soak skewers in water so that they do not burn on the grill. For filing make an Asian sauce that does not require cooking. Awesome taste is given by soy sauce, fresh garlic, ginger, dark sesame oil, aromatic freshly squeezed lime juice and wine vinegar. Finished shrimp is also sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds to Emphasize their Asian style. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 24 large shrimp
  • 0.5 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. l grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp. l dark sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. l white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 Art. peanut butter + optional to sprinkle shrimp
  • 2 tbsp. l toasted sesame seeds
  • Wooden skewers (10 cm each)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Soak 10 cm long wooden skewers in cold water for 1 hour. Put 1 shrimp on each skewer so that the shrimp flat lay.
  2. Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, in a small bowl, sesame oil, white wine vinegar, lime juice and peanut butter. Put shrimp skewers on a plate and sprinkle peanut oil to lightly coat them. Salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the grill. Fry the shrimp for 2 minutes on each side or until ready. Put the prepared shrimp on a dish, drizzle sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
