A traditional dish of Belarusian cuisine according to my grandmother’s recipe. Tasty “Draniki” or “Potato pancakes” are great for dinner as stand alone dish or as a side dish. Cook them at home not at all difficult.

- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Grate potatoes on the large side of the grater.
- Shredded potatoes are transferred to a sieve or colander, squeezed all juice from it.
- In a large bowl, mix our potatoes, salt, flour and sour cream.
- Spread potato pancakes on a well-heated pan with sufficient amount of oil.
- We fry on each side for 3 minutes over medium heat.
- We transfer ready-made potato pancakes to paper from the pan towels to drain fat.
- Serve with sour cream or herbs – optional.
