Recipe preparation:
- Fill a cocktail shaker or small jug with ice. Add whiskey, vermouth and bitter. Cover and shake vigorously, or mix to cool the cocktail for about 30 seconds. (Simply put, when the shaker fogs up, the drink is ready). Strain in chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and serve.
