Cocktail mule

  • 1 tbsp. l fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. l Limoncello lemon liquor recipe see below
  • 90 ml. vodka
  • Ice cubes
  • One bottle (330 ml.) Ginger ale
  • Lemon slices, for decoration

Homemade Limoncello Liquor

  • 14 lemons
  • 1 liter of vodka
  • 3 tbsp. Sahara

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a copper mug for Moscow mule, mix lemon juice, Limoncello liquor, vodka and a few ice cubes.
  2. Fill the mug with ginger beer. Garnish with a slice of lemon.

    Homemade Lemoncello Lemon Liquor

    Use a peeler to cut the zest from the lemons. Put the zest in 3 liter jug. Pour vodka and mix. Cover wrap and leave to infuse at room temperature for 1 week. In a large saucepan, mix 3.5 tbsp. water and sugar and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Let cool completely, then pour the syrup into a jug of vodka and zest and mix. Again close tightly and let stand for 24 hours. Strain liquor through a sieve and discard the zest. Pour into clean bottles with tight covers. Refrigerate well for at least 4 hours. Store lemon liquor in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
