Difficulty: easy Quantity: 1 cocktail Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

For ginger syrup:

  • 1/2 tbsp. Sahara
  • 1 slice (5 cm) of ginger, peel and cut into cubes

For one serving of cocktail:

  • 45 ml. apple brandy
  • 20 ml cider vinegar
  • 15 ml orange liquor
  • 1 tbsp. l honey
  • 1 tbsp. l ginger syrup
  • Star anise star, for decoration (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook ginger syrup: mix sugar in a saucepan and 1/2 tbsp. water. Put the pan on the stove and cook at medium temperature, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove pan from cooker and cool slightly. Transfer syrup to a food processor or blender, add ginger and chop until smooth. Let the ginger syrup infuse for 2 to 3 hours, then strain through a sieve in which gauze is laid.
  2. Make a cocktail: fill the shaker with ice, add brandy, vinegar, orange liquor, honey and 1 tbsp. l ginger syrup. Shake well, then strain the cocktail into a short glass, filled with ice. Garnish the cocktail with star anise star.
