Cocktail gin and blackberry float

Alcoholic cocktail recipe float with gin and blackberry. Berries boiled with sugar and filtered through a fine sieve. The resulting juice is poured into a shaker and mixed with mint, gin, lemon juice and ice. The mixture is poured into glasses with ginger ale. Ice cream is laid out on top of the cocktail.

Cocktail float is an ice cream based drink with the addition of sparkling water and various ingredients. Feature such a cocktail is that on top of the cocktail ice cream or whipped cream is laid out, thus floating on surface they look like a float.

Difficulty: easy Servings: 4 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 470 ml. blackberry
  • 2 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 1/2 tbsp. coarsely chopped fresh mint
  • 225 gr. gina
  • 1/4 Art. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 680 gr. ginger ale
  • 500 ml vanilla ice cream or blueberry sorbet (fruit ice cream)

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm blackberries, sugar and 1 tbsp. l mash water, berries with a pestle and boil for 5 minutes, until the mixture does not thicken a little. Strain the mixture in a bowl through a shallow sieve squeezing juice with a rubber spatula. Chill in the fridge at least 10 minutes. Fill the cocktail shaker with 2 tbsp. l juice blackberry, 2 tbsp. l mint, 55 gr. gina, 1 tbsp. l lime juice and a handful ice. Mix vigorously for 5-6 minutes until the drink is will become icy. Pour into a tall glass. Pour ginger on top ale and mix a little. Make 3 more drinks. For each put a spoonful of ice cream on top.
