Genever or as I also call it “juniper vodka” is Holland’s national spirits. His name originates from the Dutch “jeneverbes”, which means “juniper”. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 60 ml. Genevera (go genie)
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 2 desha (~ 2ml.) Violet liquor (Creme de violette)
  • 2 desha (~ 2ml.) Orange liquor, for example, Aperol
  • Ice

Recipe:

In a shaker filled with ice, pour genever, lime juice, violet liquor and orange liquor. Shake, strain and serve. Recipes with similar ingredients: gin, lime juice, orange liquor
