Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/4 Art. cider vinegar 5%
  • 1.5 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 3/4 Art. finely chopped gherkins
  • 1/2 tbsp. whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Combine egg yolks and apple cider vinegar in a food processor. With the combine turned on, add a little oil and mix to the state of the emulsion. If the mixture began to thicken very much, then add oil faster.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and taste. At season with salt. Put the tartar sauce in a container with cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
