Ingredients for the recipe:

For a cocktail:

  • 15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 60 ml. rye whiskey, preferably rittenhouse
  • Dried apple slice, for garnish

For apple jam and syrup:

  • 2 red apples, peel and core, to cut in cubes
  • 2 cinnamon rolls
  • 1/2 tbsp. and 2 tbsp. l Sahara

Recipe preparation:

  1. Prepare apple jam: mix apples in a pan, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar, put on a stove and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 20 minutes, cool.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the syrup: mix in a saucepan over 1/2 cup sugar and water, bring to a boil with medium temperature and cook, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from cooker and cool.
  3. To make a cocktail: fill the shaker with half ice, add 1 teaspoon of apple jam, 15 g. syrup, lime juice and whiskey. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with dried apple.
