  1. Finely chopped onions, until golden fry in vegetable oil.
  2. Cut and mix potatoes, meat and herring, add to the mixture fried onion and skip it all through a meat grinder.
  3. Add flour, softened butter and again pass through meat grinder.
  4. Add yolks and sour cream to the minced meat, pepper and salt over taste, sprinkle minced meat with nutmeg, mix well.
  5. Gently beat egg whites with minced meat.
  6. Lubricate the baking dish with oil, put in it mass. Flatten the mass and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  7. Bake the dish for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Baked mincemeat is good served with ketchup or sour cream.
