- Finely chopped onions, until golden fry in vegetable oil.
- Cut and mix potatoes, meat and herring, add to the mixture fried onion and skip it all through a meat grinder.
- Add flour, softened butter and again pass through meat grinder.
- Add yolks and sour cream to the minced meat, pepper and salt over taste, sprinkle minced meat with nutmeg, mix well.
- Gently beat egg whites with minced meat.
- Lubricate the baking dish with oil, put in it mass. Flatten the mass and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake the dish for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Baked mincemeat is good served with ketchup or sour cream.
