Steps
Steps taken: 0/0
- Heat 1 cup milk (220 ml), dissolve 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar (20 gr) and stir 1 teaspoon of yeast (4-5 gr). Let it brew (10-15 minutes) to form a hat.
- Sift 4 cups flour (400 g) into a large bowl, add egg, salt (1/2 tsp), 1/2 cup sugar (120 g), milk with yeast, melted butter (100 g) and knead the dough. The dough is very soft. Cover with cling film and clean in warm place for 1 hour.
- Melt 50 g butter. In 1 cup sugar (180 g) add a pack of vanillin (1.5 g).
- Divide the increased dough into balls (I have got 16 balls).
- Roll each ball into a circle, grease with melted cream butter and sprinkle 2 tsp sugar, roll into a roll.
- Bend the roll in half and pinch the open ends together. Notch on the bend side and unfold the bun (as shown in video).
- Grease a bun butter and sprinkle with sugar. Share on a baking sheet (covered with baking paper or a silicone mat), give rest (10 minutes).
- Grease the buns with yolk, bake in preheated to 180 degrees oven 25-30 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
