Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1.5 tbsp. long grain white rice
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 can (800 gr.) Diced tomatoes
- 1 can (110 g.) Diced pimento pepper
- 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter
- 1 chopped onion head
- A pinch of salt and cayenne pepper
- A little hot sauce

Recipe preparation:
- In a medium-sized thick-walled pan, moderately weak Melt the butter on fire. Put rice, onion, green pepper and saute until rice is lightly browned and vegetables become soft, 8-10 minutes Add tomatoes, pimento pepper, salt, cayenne pepper and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce fire to low.
- Simmer for 20 minutes, then mix with a fork. If the rice is soft, but too thin, cook for another 5 minutes by removing the lid. If the rice is dry but not yet soft, add 1/2 tbsp. water, cover and continue cooking for another 5 minutes until rice is cooked.
