Sorbet and black grapes

Light refreshing black grape sorbet is a delicious dessert, which contains a minimum of calories and gives pleasure to its bright taste and heady aroma. For its preparation, black grapes pitted mixed with a little sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice for a more balanced, refreshing taste and a tablespoon of vodka, thanks to which the sorbet acquires more uniform tender texture. Sorbet is frozen in an ice cream maker, but if you don’t have one, you can also freeze it in freezer. However, you have to constantly mix it, to achieve the desired texture. Difficulty: Easy Servings: 4 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

  • 4 tbsp. seedless black grapes washed
  • 1/4 Art. Sahara
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. l vodka (optional, but it helps to stabilize sorbet)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Grind grapes, sugar, zest and lemon juice in a blender to homogeneous consistency. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and on a strong bring to a boil on fire. Cook for 30 seconds, then remove from stove. Strain the puree through a fine sieve and discard the rest. Mix in mashed vodka.
  2. Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator, then pour into the ice cream maker and freeze in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or freeze in a shallow container, stirring occasionally every 10-15 minutes.
