Shrimp baked with tomatoes and ouzo – a detailed recipe cooking. - 900 gr. peeled and chopped large raw shrimp
- 1/2 tbsp. clam juice or shrimp broth with seasonings
- 2 tbsp. l chopped garlic
- 2 cans (800 gr.) Italian plum-shaped hand-crushed tomato juice
- 2.5 tsp chopped fresh oregano leaves
- 1.5 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 and 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 Art. small capers (drain the brine)
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 5 tbsp. l (75 gr.) Butter
- 1/2 tbsp. ouzo
- 225 gr. crumbled feta cheese
- Hot rustic bread with crispy crust for filing
- 1/2 tbsp. olive oil

Recipe preparation:
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan and place in it garlic. Fry until fragrance, about a minute. Add tomatoes, clam juice, oregano, thyme, crushed red pepper, capers and cook until the sauce thickens and decreases in half volume, 20-25 min. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Preheat in a large pan butter until it starts foaming. Put the shrimp and fry, stirring occasionally until they begin to become pink. Remove the pan from the heat and add the ouzo. Put it again pan to fire and gently shake to alcohol ignited. Lightly salt to taste. Remove from heat. Not overcook, at this point the shrimp should not be completely ready.
- Large casserole or single gratin forms pour the sauce. Put in shrimp sauce and sprinkle evenly on top feta cheese.
