Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 700 gr. peeled and chopped raw medium shrimp the size
  • 450 gr cut diagonally in 1.5 cm circles. sausages chorizo
  • 1 tbsp. l plus 1/4 Art. olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp. chopped onion into thin rings
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1 tbsp. l paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 tbsp. l lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. l chopped parsley leaves
  • Crispy Bread Serve

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large frying pan or skillet (casuela) heat a tablespoon of olive oil and fry chopped chorizo sausage until it starts to brown on the edges, 7-8 мин. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally until it begins to caramelize around the edges and does not become soft, 4 – 6 minutes. Add the garlic and fry, stirring, a minute. Pour in 1/4 tbsp. sherry and cook a minute.
  2. Add shrimp, paprika, a teaspoon of salt and 1/2 tsp. black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and will not be completely ready, about 4 – 5 minutes. Pour in the remaining 1/4 tbsp. sherry and 1/4 Art. olive oil, add lemon juice, parsley and the remaining salt and pepper. Stir and remove from heat. Serve immediately on small plates, watering on top of the allocated juice. Put it on the table bread.
