Scampi shrimp in light sauce

A traditional American scampi shrimp dish is being prepared actually from shrimp fried in butter with garlic and white wine. According to the same recipe, the sauce is lightweight, without butter, which makes it more dietary, but not less delicious. Stew spiced prawns in lemon wine sauce and add the boiled spaghetti. Sprinkle delicious crunchy on top a mixture of crushed croutons, parsley and lemon zest. You enjoy a light and refreshing taste this dish. Recipes use volumetric containers volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 180 gr. multigrain spaghetti
  • 1/4 Art. crushed multi-grain croutons
  • 1/4 Art. chopped parsley
  • 1.5 tbsp. l grated lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 300 gr large shrimp, peeled from shells and intestinal veins (approximately 16 pieces of size 21/25)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 Art. lightly salted chicken stock
  • 1/4 Art. dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp. l lemon juice
  • 6 chopped pitted black olives (about 1 tbsp. l.)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Boil spaghetti in accordance with the recommendation on the packaging. Drain, set the spaghetti aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix croutons, 0.5 tbsp. l parsley, and 1 tbsp. l zest.
  3. In a large skillet with non-stick coating over medium heat heat the olive oil. Add shallots, garlic and red pepper. Fry, stirring until onion is soft, about 1 minutes. Add the shrimp and salt and fry over a moderate heat, periodically turning until shrimp become dull, 1-2 minutes. Add the broth, wine, lemon juice and olives. Bring to boil and cook for 1 minute, then reduce heat to moderate. Stir in the remaining 3 tbsp spaghetti. l parsley and the remaining 0.5 Art. l zest, mix thoroughly and remove from the stove.
  4. Transfer to a large bowl. Sprinkle with a mixture of croutons. At once serve.
