Pressed sandwich “Kubano”

Photo Pressed Sandwich Time: one 5 мин. Complexity: easy Quantity: 1 Cuban sandwich Recipes used volumetric containers: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 slices of baked or pressed pork (55-85 gr.)
  • 2.5 slices of ham (approximately 85 gr.)
  • 2.5 slices of Swiss cheese (approximately 55 gr.)
  • 1 Cuban baguette (30 cm.) Or soft bun for large sandwiches
  • 1 tbsp. l softened butter plus some more for lubrication mold
  • 3 slices of pickled cucumber
  • 1 tbsp. l mustard

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place a large frying pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter. Cut the baguette in half along. Spread one half evenly with 1 tablespoon butter and the other with mustard. Put on the bottom half ham, baked pork, cheese, cucumbers. Cover the top half.
  2. Put the sandwich in a pan and press with your hands, a spatula or another pan. Fry for about 30 seconds, flip and cook on the other side until golden until cheese is will melt. Cut in half.
