Potato panini

Difficulty: Easy Servings: 4 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: one cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 medium potatoes of Russet Burbank variety
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. small broccoli inflorescences
  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 tbsp. sour cream
  • 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 4 slices of münster cheese
  • 4 slices of Jarlsberg cheese
  • 3 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • Hot sauce

Recipe preparation:

  1. Pierce each potato several times with a fork. Cook in microwave until soft for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 min., Then gently crush each potato with your hands until lozenges approximately 2 cm thick. Each loaf horizontally cut in half to make two slices of “bread”. Season each with salt and pepper.
  2. Meanwhile, in a medium-sized stewpan, bring to a boil salted water. Add broccoli and cook for 2 minutes until color will become brighter. Drain and broccoli over with cold water. to stop the thermal process, then put it on a plate, covered with a paper towel and let dry.
  3. Fry in a non-stick pan at moderate temperature. bacon until crisp on both sides, about 7 min. Lay out bacon on a plate covered with paper towel; every slice break in half. Make onion sauce: mix in a blender until homogeneous mass of sour cream, green onions, vinegar and 1/4 tsp. salt. Transfer the resulting sauce into a small bowl.
  4. Collect panini: put 4 halves of potatoes on munster cheese, bacon, broccoli and jarlsberg cheese. Cover the second half of potatoes. In a large frying pan over medium heat heat the olive oil. Put the resulting potato panini in a pan and cook for 3-4 minutes. on each side before education golden crust. Season with salt and pepper. Ready Panini cut in half and serve with onion sauce and hot the sauce.
