A delicious casserole made from potatoes – great option for a festive table and for home lunch or dinner. Pleasantly surprised by the combination of fragrant potatoes baked with apples and slices of fried bacon in a gentle creamy spicy sauce.

  1. We clean and wash onions and potatoes. My apples, cut the skin, remove the core.
  2. Cut the potatoes into circles and set to cook until semi-finished, about 5 minutes after boiling, drain the water, cool.
  3. We also cut apples, sprinkle with lemon juice, so as not to darkened, fry on both sides (1 minute per side) on heated pan greased with 1 tbsp. l butter put in a bowl. In the same oil, fry the slices of bacon for about 5 minutes from both sides, dry on a paper towel, cool, cut pieces 2-3 cm wide.
  4. Fry the onion for 7 minutes in a preheated pan in the melted oil (1 tbsp. l).
  5. We set the oven to warm up to 200 degrees. Grease with oil baking dish.
  6. Heat the cream in a saucepan over low heat. Add to them mustard, salt, caraway seeds, ground black pepper and grated cheese. Everything mix.
  7. In the prepared form we put potatoes, then apples and bacon, the last onion. Fill the layers with a mixture of cream, spices and cheese. Cover the form with foil and put in the oven for 35 minutes bake at a temperature of 200 degrees. After 35 minutes, bake until ready for another 15 minutes, already without foil.
  8. Serve a delicious and fragrant potato casserole, decorating greens.
