Portuguese green soup “Caldo Verde” – a detailed recipe cooking. Time: 50 min Difficulty: easy Servings: 6 – 8 The recipes use dimensional capacity: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cups (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teahouse spoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 tbsp. peeled and thinly sliced potatoes Idaho
- 170 gr thinly sliced chorizo sausages
- 450 gr kale cabbage (rinse, trim thick stalks and thinly chop)
- 1/4 Art. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. chopped onions
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 2 l water
- Salt and ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:
- In a medium-sized saucepan, heat 3 tbsp. l olive oil, put onion and garlic and fry for 2-3 minutes. until they will become transparent. Do not let them brown. Add potatoes and water. Cover the pan and simmer over medium heat. 20 мин.
- During this time, fry the sausage in a pan until it is melted most fat. Dry, save fat. When will the potato be soft, mash it with a crush right in the pan. Add to soup sausage, then kale. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the remaining olive oil and spices. Arrange in bowls and serve.
