We cook large pork meatballs with smoked bacon at home on “pillow” of sauerkraut in the oven, they will turn out very juicy and tasty.

  1. Coarse pork fillet with smoked bacon and onions (1 pc.) And pass through a meat grinder. Add chicken to the aromatic minced meat egg, crackers, ground pepper and a little salt. Form from a mixture of 9 balls. We put the oven 180 degrees.

  2. In a bowl, mix sauerkraut with ground caraway seeds, sugar, finely chopped onions (1 pc.) and put in a mold. Pour in cabbage water (150 ml.), on top we place prepared large meatballs and put in the oven for 35 minutes.

  3. Put the finished fragrant meatballs on plates, add stewed sauerkraut, boiled potatoes and serve with fresh with bread.
