  • 350 ml. beer
  • 3 tbsp. l finely grated parmesan

Dip sauce

  • 4 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. sour cream
  • 3/4 Art. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. l sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 Art. baked red bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l lime juice
  • 1.5 tsp black pepper, coarse
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp. l white wine
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped garlic

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, dried in a food processor tomatoes, red bell pepper, lime juice, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp. salt, white wine and chopped garlic. Cover lid and refrigerate the sauce for 1 hour.
  2. Cut the onion into circles 1 cm thick, remove the outer dark layer, divide into rings and soak in yogurt for 1 hour.
  3. In a thick-walled pan, heat the vegetable oil to 180 ° C.
  4. Connect 1 tbsp. flour, remaining salt, pepper and garlic, mix thoroughly. Do the same in a medium bowl with beer and 1 tbsp. flour.
  5. Remove the onion rings from the yogurt, shake. Roll in flour, shake the excess, then dip in the beer batter. Toss individual rings in vegetable oil. Continue the process trying not to fry too much at a time so that the rings do not stuck together.
  6. When they turn golden, take it out and leave it on paper towels to absorb excess fat. Decorate onions rings with parmesan.
