“Mozzarella” hearts in spicy cheese breaded

Nothing says “my heart belongs to you” just like that spicy, cheesy and crispy treats. Difficulty: medium Quantity: 12 hearts In recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 bars (450 g each) mozzarella cheese
  • 3 packs (240 g each) of spicy corn sticks with taste cheese like cheetos
  • 4 large eggs, beat lightly
  • Cooking Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp. Ranch sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l Vietnamese spicy sauce, such as sriracha
  • Special equipment: cookie cutter (6.3 cm) in the form of a heart and a deep-fat thermometer

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put unpacked mozzarella in the freezer for 30 min for hardening. Meanwhile, load the corn sticks into food processor and grind into small crumbs. Pour 1 tbsp. for decorations, pour the rest of the mass into a large bowl. Separately large capacity place the eggs.
  2. Unpack the cold mozzarella and cut it with a long thin knife along three sides on the narrow side (like bread for sandwiches) – 6 thin layers of cheese will turn out. Heart shaped cookie cut 2 hearts from each thin layer. Must be 12 “hearts”. Cut the wedges at the top with the sharp end of the mold each piece to make the heart shape more distinct. Save cut pieces for other recipes.
  3. Dip each “heart” in a beaten egg, then roll in baby snack, completely covering. Repeat 2 more times to get a thick layer of breading, and place on a baking sheet. Freeze cheese “hearts” for at least 1 hour or store no more than 3 days.
  4. Pour oil into a large heavy saucepan with a layer of 5 cm. And attach the thermometer. Heat the oil over medium heat to 180 ° C. СUsing a slotted spoon or strainer in 3 sets, immerse the “hearts” in oil and fry for about 4 minutes. until rosy until cheese will melt. Remove from deep fat and dry on paper towels.
  5. Put the “hearts” on a plate and sprinkle with the remaining cheese baby. Pour the Ranch sauce into a small serving bowl, in center add hot sauce. Center the tip of the knife dressing and hot sauce, drawing a heart shape. Serve the fried “hearts” hot with spicy dip sauce.
