Mix for hamburgers “Sloppy Joe”

  • From 2 tsp up to 1 tbsp. l seasonings for steaks “McCormick Brand”, seasoning montreal
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 small red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp. l red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l Worcester sauce
  • 2 tbsp. tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l tomato paste
  • 4 crispy portioned buns, cut into two, fried and oiled

For garnish:

  • Sliced tomatoes, pickles, potato salad

Recipe preparation:

  1. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Pour butter and add the minced meat, laying it in a circle of the pan, and lightly crush it with a spatula. Separately mix brown sugar and seasoning for steaks. When the meat is browned, add to it the resulting mixture, onion and red pepper. Turn down the heat to medium and fry onions and peppers for 5 minutes, adding red wine to them vinegar and Worcester sauce. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste to to the pan. Stir thoroughly and simmer the sloppy jo when boil for another 5 minutes. Using a large spoon or ice cream scoop, gently place on one half of the bun ready mixture and cover with the other half of the bun.
