  • 2 tbsp. canned spicy tomato sauce “Salsa”, plus some more to feed
  • 6 tbsp. yellow corn chips (about 150 gr.), plus more a bit to feed
  • 3 tbsp. mixes of grated cheddar cheese with Monterey Jack cheese

Suggested toppings

  • 1 tbsp. sour cream, thoroughly mixed until smooth
  • 1 tbsp. chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 2 sliced cream grade tomatoes
  • 0.5 chopped avocados
  • 1/4 Art. marinated jalapeno peppers

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Pour some oil into the dish to baking.
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. After put the minced meat in a pan, sprinkle it with chili powder, zira, oregano, 1 tsp salt and a few pinches of black pepper. Fry the minced meat, kneading it with a spatula, until brownish, in 5 minutes Add onions and garlic and cook until the onions are soft, another 5 minutes Add beans, tomato sauce and 0.5 tbsp. water then let the mixture boil, cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes Season with salt and pepper to taste.   3. Spread half of the corn chips at the bottom of the baking dish, greased with olive oil. Spread half the minced meat mixture on top of chips. Then sprinkle half the cheese mixture. Repeat done with the remaining chips, minced meat and cheese. Cook casserole, without covering it, until the cheese is melted, and the casserole does not warm up for 20 minutes.
