Complexity: easy Servings: 6 The recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of: 1 glass (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (Art.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 large potatoes (875 gr.), Peeled and cut into large cubes
  • 1/2 tbsp. grated cheese such as Gouda, Monterey Jack, Cheddar or Russian
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 strips of bacon, fry and cut into any shape
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe preparation:

  1. Pour potatoes in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add bacon with onions, reduce heat and cook when weak boil for about 20 minutes, until potatoes become soft. After the potatoes are boiled, crush half the mass in mashed potatoes, to make the soup thick.
  2. Reduce heat, add milk and cheese and stir until the cheese will not melt. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spill puree soup on deep plates and serve.
