Ice cream with the taste of pickles without ice cream makers

At first glance, cream ice cream and pickles – a dubious combination. But you will be surprised how much it will actually be pleasant. The combination of sweet and salty gives this ice cream an interesting refreshing taste. For you need a pair of lightly salted cucumbers to make grind them in mashed potatoes, a can of condensed milk, cream packaging cream cheese and butter cream. Mix everything and freeze in freezer. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 lightly salted cucumbers + 1/4 tbsp. brine
  • 240 gr. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 400 gr. condensed milk with sugar
  • 2 tbsp. fat cream
  • Green or white topping, optional
  • Special equipment: metal mold for baking bread measuring 22 x 12 x 7 cm.

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put the metal mold in the freezer.
  2. Mix cucumbers with brine in a blender for 1 minute, chopped to a consistency of mashed potatoes. Strain the mash and discard the pulp. You should get about 1/3 Art. cucumber liquid.
  3. Whisk in a large bowl with a mixer at moderate speed. cream cheese until smooth, about 1 minute. Add condensed milk and cucumber liquid and continue stirring until homogeneous mass.
  4. Using a mixer at moderate speed, whip the cream until formation of strong peaks, about 2 minutes. Mix silicone spatula about 1 tbsp. whipped cream in a mixture of condensed milk, to make it more airy, then mix this mixture into the remaining whipped cream. Pour into chilled metal shape, cover and freeze so that the ice cream becomes hard, for about 5 hours. Serve decorating as desired decorative topping.
