- On the stove we heat a pot of water. We put in a water bath a cup of honey, wait until it becomes liquid, add slices oils. Stir everything and leave over low heat.
- Beat sugar with eggs until a white cream is obtained.
- Mix flour with soda and sow through a sieve (to obtain lighter cakes).
- The honey mixture should turn brown. Remove from fire, add the egg mixture and mix again. Add flour and mix again.
- For honey cake you need six cakes with a diameter of 20 cm, a thickness 2 mm each. Part of the dough is left on the crumbs for decoration.
- Preheat the oven to maximum temperature and set to 3-4 minutes, they should turn dark brown and soft. Further set to cool in the refrigerator.
- We make sour cream (mix powdered sugar and sour cream whisk to a homogeneous mass).
- Fold the cake: spread the first cake with the baked side up, smear with cream, and the next – baked side down. The top is also smeared with cream. Grind excess cake in a blender until state of small crumbs. Sprinkle it with cake on all sides.
- We remove the finished cake in the refrigerator, you can sprinkle sugar powdered or chocolate chips.
