Recipes with similar ingredients: corn flour, light beer, ground cayenne pepper, eggs
Recipe preparation:
- Heat over high heat in a large cast-iron thick-walled cooking oil until it reaches temperature 190 ° C, which a thermometer must register for frying during deep-fried.
- To make fritters, mix in a large bowl whisk corn flour, baking powder, cayenne pepper and 1 tsp. salt. In another bowl or large measuring bowl, combine beer with eggs and onions. Add a little salt, pepper and beat until homogeneity. Mix wet ingredients into dry ones using both fewer movements possible (the mixture should resemble wet sand; when pour more beer if necessary).
- Cover the dish with paper towels and place it near hob. To fry the hashppi, scoop up the dough, using a medium spoon for ice cream and dip in hot oil, avoiding crowding.
- Fry, stirring occasionally with a slotted spoon, until golden brown (3-5 minutes), and then put the hashppi on the prepared dish. Adjust the fire to maintain the required temperature and repeat the same with the remaining test. Serve as addition to batter-fried som. Fast food dish: fried catfish in batter recipe
