Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 small pumpkin (700 gr.), Peeled and chopped cubes

- 500 gr. coarsely smoked sausage
- 1/3 Art. wheat flour
- 2 – 3 stalks of celery with leafy tops, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 250 gr fresh okra (okra), chopped
- 2 tbsp. l fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 large fresh bay leaf
- 1 thin chilli
- 2 tbsp. chicken broth
- 1 bottle of beer
- 900 gr. canned tomatoes in their own juice
- Spicy sauce
- Chopped green onions, for serving
- Cooking spray

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Place the pumpkin on a baking sheet and sprinkle with a spray, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Bake pumpkin until soft and brown, from 20 to 25 minutes.

- Add celery, onion and bell pepper, season with salt and pepper and sauté, 5 minutes. Add okra, thyme, garlic, bay leaf and chili pepper, cook, stirring, a few more minutes. Pour in the broth, beer and add the tomatoes and hot sauce. Return the sausage to gumbo, simmer until thickened, from 20 to 30 minutes. Add the pumpkin and mix. Serve in shallow bowls with green onions.
