If you get tired of sandwiches and similar sandwiches, try snack on vegetables and chicken, neatly packed in a pocket from pitas. Share with friends: Time: 1 hour. 35 minutes Difficulty: easy Servings: 6 In the recipes volumetric containers are used in volume: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cups (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (Art.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 3 chicken breasts without skin and bones (approximately 700 gr.)
- 1 tbsp. (110 gr.) Crumbled feta cheese
- 3 tbsp. l fresh lemon juice (portioned), plus 2 tsp.
- 3 tbsp. l soy sauce
- 1 minced clove of garlic
- 2 tsp dried oregano (portioned)
- 2 finely chopped small tomatoes
- 1/4 Art. olive oil
- 6 pita cakes
For yogurt sauce:
- 225 ml. (1 tbsp.) Natural yogurt
- 1/4 Art. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/2 head chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 can (300 gr.) Of calamata olives or other black olives (drain the brine, cut in half and remove the stone)
- 12 slices of fried crispy bacon
- 1 minced clove of garlic
- 1 thin red sliced large head onions
- 1 tbsp. l olive oil
- Alfalfa sprouts
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Culinary spray with olive oil

Recipe preparation:
- Rinse the chicken breasts and pat dry. In a glass dish mix 3 tbsp. l lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic and a teaspoon oregano. Add chicken, flip over so that it is covered marinade, and cover with cling film. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes. at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
- In a small glass dish, mix the tomatoes and feta cheese. Add the remaining 2 tsp. lemon juice, olive oil and the remaining teaspoon of oregano. Shuffle. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
- For yogurt sauce: In a small bowl, mix yogurt, garlic, walnuts and olive oil. Cover and refrigerate before use.
- Preheat the grill to a moderate temperature. Sprinkle grill basket for grilling with olive oil. Sauté chicken breasts at a moderate temperature for 8-10 minutes, until it remains unroasted pink spots in the thickest part of the breast. On put the red onion rings and fry the surface of the basket while the chicken is cooking. Turn the basket over frequently. Onion rings turn black, it will also take 8-10 minutes. When the chicken and onion will be ready, put the pita cakes on the grill and fry them for 2 minutes. with each side until characteristic stripes appear. Chop chicken in very thin stripes.
- Put all the ingredients on the table and let everyone collect your sandwich. Separate each pita to form a “pocket”. Put a few slices of grilled chicken in it, 3-4 slices of onions, a tablespoon of a mixture of tomatoes and feta, salad, olives and 1-2 slices of bacon. Pour in yogurt sauce and place on top bunch of alfalfa seedlings. Salt and pepper to taste. Connect pit’s edge and enjoy!
