- In a bowl, mix sugar with softened butter, then pour honey while stirring. Drive an egg, ginger, if desired mix cinnamon well.
- Sift flour into a bowl, mix with baking powder and add here honey-egg mixture, knead the dough.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, select the thickness of the layer as desired, keep in mind that if the dough is thin, the cookies will turn out crispy, and on the contrary, if thick – soft.
- Cut the figures with a mold. You can use a stencil, cut a figure out of paper, circle it on the test and cut with a knife.
- Gently transfer the figures onto a baking sheet covered with paper for baking. Thin figures are best cut immediately on paper, as they are harder to carry by removing excess dough.
- Remove the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for ten minutes.
- Decorate chilled figures with pastry pencils and confectionery powder.
