German goulash

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 kg. lean stewed and fat-free beef stew (e.g. from the eye muscle) and / or pork tenderloin
  • 3 tbsp. l canola oil
  • 2 chopped onion heads
  • 1.5 tbsp. l chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp. l cumin seeds
  • 3 tbsp. l paprika
  • 1.5 tbsp. l seasonings for montreal steak
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder or a little more for more pungent taste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 sliced large green bell peppers
  • 3 sliced large red bell peppers
  • 450 gr tomato puree
  • 1 can (170 gr.) Tomato paste
  • 1.5 tbsp. vegetable broth
  • Egg noodles, spindle or dumplings for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large frying pan over medium heat, heat 1/2 tbsp. l vegetable oil.
