Complexity: easy Servings: 4 – 6 Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (Art.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1.8 kg peeled potatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp. bacon
  • 1/2 tbsp. chopped onions
  • Salt and ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Bring to a boil in a large pot of salted water potatoes and cook until soft. Do not digest. Drain and give cool the potatoes. Cut the potatoes into circles of approximately 0.5 cm. thick.
  2. In a large thick-walled cast-iron skillet, heat from bacon fat, add onions and potatoes and sauté over medium heat to golden brown. Salt and pepper to taste.
