Flautas

  • 1 grilled chicken, remove the skin, chop the meat finely
  • 16 tortillas (diameter 12 – 15 cm.)

  • Diced half medium red onion
  • 1 jalapeno pod, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground zira
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. salsa
  • 1/4 Art. chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1 tbsp. mix of grated cheddar cheese and monterey jack
  • 1 lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. chopped iceberg lettuce for serving
  • Deep-frying vegetable oil
  • Additional device: skewers

Avocado Cream

  • 1 very ripe avocado, cut in half, remove the stone, get the flesh
  • 120 gr. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. l lime juice

Recipe preparation:

  1. Pour vegetable oil 5 cm deep into a large pot. Heat over moderate heat until the deep fat thermometer shows temperature 190 ° C.
  2. Cook the filling. In a frying pan over moderate heat. melt the butter and fry the onions and jalapenos, 5 minutes, until softness. Add garlic, zira and cayenne pepper.
