Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 900 gr. chicken breasts or thighs without skin and bones (extra pre-remove fat)
  • 2/3 Art. dark rum
  • 3 tbsp. l Worcester sauce
  • 1 peeled and grated piece of ginger (2.5 cm.)
  • 2 tbsp. l brown sugar
  • 6 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/3 Art. orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 thinly sliced orange for decoration
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped fresh cilantro leaves plus some more for decoration

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix dark rum, orange juice, orange zest, Worcester sauce, ginger, brown sugar, garlic and cilantro. Put chicken in the marinade, cover the food film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. or up to 4 hours
