Crostini with pea pesto

Bright and tasty Italian crostini sandwiches will decorate any home party or holiday table. Crispy baguette slices or ciabattas are covered with pea pesto and decorated with halves cherry tomatoes. The taste of this sauce is much more tender and softer than that of traditional basil pesto.   • 8 slices (1 cm thick) whole grain baguette or ciabatta, preferably yesterday, * see Note

Pesto

  • 1 packet (280 gr.) Frozen green peas, defrost
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 0.5 tbsp. grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp coarse salt + optionally to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper + extra to taste
  • 1/3 Art. olive oil

Recipe preparation:
