Crispy Spaghetti Salad

In Russia, pasta is traditionally perceived as side dish, while in Asia you won’t surprise anyone cold for a long time salads with noodles, as, however, and Italians, who borrowed this idea and giving it its own national flavor. Such salads especially good in the warm season, they refuel in advance and their very convenient to take with you. This dish option is likely the whole family will like it – children will like the crunch, and adults a fragrant combination of spices and an abundance of vegetables. Share with friends: Photo Crispy Spaghetti Salad Time: 35 minutes Difficulty: Easy Servings: 6 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: one cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 250 gr thin spaghetti
  • 450 gr sugar peas in pods
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 Art. rice wine vinegar
  • 1/3 Art. soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. l black sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp. l honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chop finely
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp. l fried white sesame seeds, separately
  • 0.5 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2 red bell peppers, core and seeds, cut into thin slices
  • 4 feathers of green onions (white and green parts), cut into diagonals
  • 3 tbsp. l chopped parsley leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. Bring a large pot of salt water to a boil. Fall asleep spaghetti and cook according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
  2. In parallel, take another large pan with salted water. Bring to a boil, fill in sweet peas, wait until the water boils again and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the peel is soft. Using a slotted spoon, remove the peas from the water and transfer to a cup with ice water. Drain the water.
  3. Salad dressing: mix in a medium cup with a whisk vegetable oil, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, 2 tbsp. l sesame and peanut butter.
  4. In a large cup combine spaghetti, sweet peas, Bulgarian pepper and chives. Pour dressing on top. Add the remaining 1 tbsp. l sesame seeds and parsley, and mix everything.
