Creamy Corn & Ham Soup

Photo Creamy cream soup with corn and ham Time: 50 мин.Difficulty: easy Servings: 6 Measured containers are used in recipes volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 750 gr. canned corn, no liquid
  • 750 ml. milk
  • 1 tbsp. diced ham
  • 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 sweet red pepper, diced in small cubes
  • 1/4 Art. chopped fresh onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat melt 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) butter, fry corn kernels and onions for 5 min. Then add milk, salt and pepper to taste, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 12 minutes.
  2. Using a slotted spoon, remove 1 cup of corn kernels from the mass and shift in a separate container. Grind the remaining mass hand blender.
  3. Melt the remaining cream in a skillet over medium heat butter. Add ham and red pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Add a glass of deferred corn kernels and chives.
  4. Pour the soup into deep plates, put the fried on top vegetables and ham, serve.
