To make cold summer soup, we will need
- Sour milk – 1l.
- Boiled water – 2l.
- Cucumber – 3pcs.
- Radish – 7-8pcs.
- Chives – 5-6stems.
- Parsley, dill – a bunch.
- Salt, red pepper.
Do not try to replace sour milk with kefir or diluted sour cream. All the charm and usefulness of the Uzbek “cold” disappear.
You can prepare a cold country soup as follows:
Make sour milk yourself. To do this, heat to a boil. natural (!) milk, but do not boil. As soon as it cools down temperature of 35-40 °, add sour cream. On 3 liters. jar 200-250g is enough. A day later, or maybe earlier, delicious sour milk is ready! Leave a glass of milk for the next sourdough.
Stir in the sour milk with water, salt and season pepper.
Finely chop the cucumbers, radishes, greens. I like to rub radish on a coarse grater.
Cut the onion and shake a little to make the cold soup more aromatic.
