Coffee Chili with Bourbon

Coffee Chili with Bourbon Meat – a detailed recipe cooking. Photo of Chili Meat with Coffee and Bourbon Time: 1 hour. 35 minutes Difficulty: easy Servings: 6 Measured containers are used in recipes volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 kg. diced pork shoulder
  • 0.5 kg small beef neck
  • 900 gr. canned fried tomatoes, chopped cubes
  • 900 gr. canned Kidney beans, drained and washed
  • 3 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 cloves, chopped or crushed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 diced red pepper
  • 3 tbsp. l chili powder
  • 1 tbsp. l cumin
  • 1 tsp ground pepper chipotle
  • 0.5 tsp coriander
  • 3 tbsp. l bourbon
  • 3 tbsp. l brewed espresso
  • 1 tbsp. l agave syrup
  • 0.5 tbsp. grated white cheddar (optional)
  • 1/3 Art. sour cream (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the large oven to a moderate heat. Pour 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil in a preheated pan. Salt and pepper the pork and beef. Divide the meat into 2 servings. Fry one serving on all sides for 7 minutes. Transfer the prepared meat to a plate and fry the second portion.
  2. When toast and shift all the meat, add 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil in a pan along with garlic, onions and peppers. Fry, stirring frequently for 3 minutes. Season vegetables chili pepper, cumin, chipotle, coriander and 1 tsp. salt. Cook vegetables 2 min. until the spices are fragrant and vegetables are soft. Add chopped tomatoes and beans with 2 tbsp. water. Add roasted meat and 0.5 tsp. salt. Turn down the heat to moderately low, cover and leave to simmer slowly over hours until the meat is tender and the chili slightly thickens. Add bourbon, espresso, agave syrup and remove from heat. Meat garnish with grated cheddar and a large spoon of sour cream. Chile con carne Texas Dawn.
