Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 450 gr salted cod (soak in cold water overnight, changing water about 3 times)
  • 2 large chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp., Plus 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 large onion halves
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves
  • 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • Sliced green onions for decoration

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large skillet over high heat, heat 1/2 tbsp. olive oil, put onions, garlic and thyme. Saute the onions in for 6 minutes
  2. Cut the salted fish into 2.5 cm slices and place in the pan. Fry for 5 minutes, add the tomatoes and the remaining oil. Salt and pepper to taste, and simmer another 15 minutes. Sprinkle chopped green onions.
