Chocolate French Toasts (Ban fart)

If stale bread has nowhere to put, and conscience doesn’t let it go, you can not only revive it, but also cook it unusually delicious chocolate dessert. French toast “Pan fart” (French pain perdu – forgotten bread) are prepared very simply: pour the slices of bread chocolate cream, let them soak well and bake in the oven. It turns out an excellent dessert with rich chocolate taste and delicate texture similar to bread pudding. Toasts can serve with whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream or, for hopeless chokoholics – with chocolate sauce. Recipe preparation:

  1. Bring to a boil in a small saucepan over low heat. a mixture of 1/4 tbsp. cream, milk, sugar, 3 tbsp. l (45 gr.) butter, vanilla and salt. Pour into a medium-sized bowl chopped chocolate and fill with hot creamy mixture. Leave on 5 minutes until the chocolate melts. Add the eggs and well mix.
  2. Lubricate the baking dish with the remaining butter and lay the slices of bread lightly on it. Pour evenly bread with chocolate mix. Press it with your fingers to make it fully covered in cream. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Bake for about 30 minutes, until bread around the edges will not turn golden. Remaining cream pour into a chilled bowl and beat until soft peaks. Serve french toasts on plates with a spoon of whipped cream.
