Chicken in Marsala Sauce

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 (170-225 gr.) Cut in half and finely beaten chicken boneless and skinless breasts
  • 3 tbsp. sliced mushrooms (cremini mushrooms, oyster mushroom or shiitake)
  • 3/4 Art. Marsala fortified table red wine
  • 1 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter
  • 1 tbsp. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tbsp. wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp. l spice mixtures, see recipe below
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped chives, for decoration

Creole Spice Mix from Emeryl:

  • 2.5 tbsp. l paprika
  • 2 tbsp. l salt
  • 2 tbsp. l garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. l black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. l cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l dried oregano leaves
  • 1 tbsp. l dried thyme

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a shallow bowl or bowl, thoroughly mix the flour and mixture spices. Quickly roll the chicken breast halves in this mixture and shake off excess flour. Reduce the heat to medium again put the chicken breasts in a pan and continue to simmer until prepared and thickened sauce 5-6 minutes Stir in the remaining 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve immediately. Creole Spice Mix from Emeryl: Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and Store in a sealed jar or container. Output: approximately 2/3 Art.
