If you cook delicious meatballs with buckwheat at home, you can immediately “kill two birds with one stone”, because it is both meat and side dish combined. Very handy for a family dinner. And these cutlets will help out if your children are reluctant to eat buckwheat, but they love meat.

- Sort buckwheat, rinse in cold water. Dry and over five minutes stirring to fry in a dry pan.
- Pour 3 cups of water into the pan, add salt. When it boils pour buckwheat and cook for 20 minutes.
- Peel and finely chop the onion, heat one in a pan a tablespoon of oil. Fry onion in it for 7-8 minutes until golden colors.
- For the sauce, peel the onion and carrots, cut the core at pepper. Dice the onion, pepper and carrot – in strips. AT sauté on two tablespoons of oil onion for 5 minutes, add pepper with carrots and fry for another 5 minutes. In 200 ml of water dilute tomato paste and pour to vegetables. Add oregano, a pinch of salt and sugar. Mix everything and warm for two minutes.
- Cool the buckwheat and roll together with the minced meat through a meat grinder. Add the fried onion, egg, pepper and salt to taste. Mix.
- Form not very large cutlets from the minced meat. Fry them with each side for 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Put all cutlets in a baking dish, pour over the sauce. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 180 C.
